What is Chimesong?
An online reflection app. Describe your day for an AI score and reflection, keep it private, or explicitly share a moderated post with other signed-in users.
Is it free?
The current core reflection, Feed, and small-game experience is free. A working paid subscription service is not part of this release candidate.
Do I need to sign up?
Yes, for Rate Day and the Feed, including shared-post pages. The landing, legal, FAQ, and safety information pages are available without an account.
Is my day private by default?
Yes. Publishing requires an explicit sharing action and moderation. Posts display a generated pseudonym, not your account email. Anything identifying that you write yourself can still identify you, so review it before sharing.
Does the AI keep my day text after scoring?
A stateless request does not mean zero retention. Anthropic's published API policy describes deletion within 30 days by default, with exceptions for some services, agreements, safety enforcement, and law. Chimesong also stores your entry in your private history until deletion.
Do you train AI on my content?
Chimesong does not run model training on your entries. Provider processing is governed by its commercial terms and the applicable agreement; do not treat that as a promise of zero provider retention.
Can the AI be wrong?
Yes. Scores and reflections can be mistaken. They are not clinical assessments, medical advice, or a verdict on your life.
What happens if I write about something serious?
When the safety flow detects a crisis, the entry is not scored or shared. Crisis guidance appears in the flow, with safety resources also available at /safety. Chimesong is not an emergency service.
Can other users see who I am?
Other signed-in users see your shared content and pseudonym, not your account email or private entries. A pseudonym does not make identifying details in your writing anonymous.
Why was my post or comment blocked?
Public contributions are moderated. The application shows available reasons and recovery or appeal options. Automatic delivery of an explanatory email is not guaranteed by this release.
Can I export my data?
Settings provides a JSON export of supported account, entry, and interaction records. It is not a complete export of every security audit record or provider log; contact the operator for a privacy request.
Can I delete my account?
Yes, through the confirmation flow in Settings. Account and dependent user records are deleted. Security audit records can remain with the profile link cleared, and provider backups and logs have separate handling. The Privacy Policy explains these limits; no fixed backup expiry is promised.
Do you sell my data?
No. Chimesong does not sell entries or use advertising trackers. Optional analytics is separately controlled through Manage cookies.
Can I install Chimesong on my phone?
Use Chimesong in a browser. The release is online-only and is not certified for PWA installability or offline use. A browser shortcut is not a native mobile app.
Does it work offline?
No offline support is promised. An internet connection is required for the supported experience, including account access, entries, Feed, and AI processing.
Which browsers have been tested?
Selected automated flows have been checked in Chromium, Firefox, and WebKit. This is not certification for every browser, real mobile device, or screen reader; human and assistive-technology acceptance remain open.
