About Chimesong

Chimesong is a project by Esharive Joshua Akpevweoghene, built in Delta State, Nigeria. One person, one app, no company behind it yet.

Why this exists

Most of us describe our days to ourselves — in the shower, in the car, staring at the ceiling before bed. We don't often say the description out loud, and we almost never get a thoughtful reply. I wanted a place to type the description down, hear a chime, and get a warm honest reply back — not a therapist, not a coach, not a productivity tool. A companion.

Chimesong scores the day 1–10 the way a thoughtful friend might: 5 is a real, ordinary day; 1 or 10 is rare. It listens for hard content and, when it hears it, steps out of the way and hands you a real crisis resource instead.

What Chimesong is not

• Not a therapy service. Not a substitute for one.
• Not a productivity tracker. There is no streak that punishes you for missing a day.
• Not a dopamine drip. There are minigames, but they are small and warm, not addictive by design.
• Not a data broker. Chimesong does not sell your entries or train AI models on them. Provider processing and retention are explained in the Privacy Policy.

What it wants to be

Chimesong wants to be a place to reflect on something that happened today — good, bad, complicated. It aims for kind moderation, clear choices, and an optional small chime after a completed reflection. The supported experience is online-only.

Who I am

I'm Esharive Joshua Akpevweoghene. I live in Delta State, Nigeria. I'm building Chimesong on my own — the design, the code, the writing on this page — with heavy help from AI along the way. I'm not a therapist. I built this because I needed it.

What's next

The localhost release candidate is complete with documented limitations. Human usability, assistive-technology, physical-device, production-origin, provider, and deployment acceptance remain open before public launch. No offline or installability certification is claimed.
